The Mustang Wrestling Team has been working hard to prepare for the upcoming 11-12 season. Many of our wrestlers have participated in summer wrestling as well as the pre-conditioning season that is currently going on. We have been accustomed to having great success and choose not to go backwards but forward. Although, we will have many inexperieced wrestlers in the lineup- our goals are still to be Region Champs, Qualify 14 wrestlers to State, and to chase that elusive State Wrestling Championship. We will be led this year by Chris Murdock (2X State Placer, State Finalist) and Demarcus Thomas (Region Champ). We will be counting heavily on the following wrestlers-Will Clavecilla, Michael Nealer, Jesse Smith, Augusto Paes, Angel Ramirez, Henrio Thelemaque, Justan Rivera, Taariq Shabazz. We hope that you all will take an opportunity to come and watch us compete and represent the KM wrestling family.

Congratulations to our KM Mustang Varsity wrestling team for taking Second Place at our own Horseshoe Duals against 10 quality opponents- our JV team comprised of mostly first year wrestlers were able to finish in a respectable 5th place finish going 2-2. Although it was our first competition of the year we wrestled fairly well, but most importantly learned a lot about our team- What we do well and what we need to work on- next up is our annual Thanksgiving Duals- on Nov 26th- come out and support your mustang varsity and JV wrestling teams, as we take on 12 other varsity teams and 10 JV teams.
